The answer isn’t quite that simple, it’s actually yes and no. Let me explain, of course it is not safe to just let anybody remote into your computer. Most of us hold our entire life on our devices nowadays. You want to make sure you are dealing with a reputable firm in good standing and not on every other ripoff site out there. We are a group of engineers that care and have one goal in common- to deliver the highest quality IT services to every person we earn as a client. We don’t expect your trust we expect to earn it, and that is part of our mission statement.
Our remote solution uses 256 bit encryption and creates a point to point tunnel known as a Virtual Private Network during our sessions. Our Engineers have worked with 100’s if not 1000’s of clients in this very manner. What’s better? You have control! You not only have to approve any remote session, you have to initiate it!
That’s right. You have to go to a link and ask for the help. During your session you also have a disconnect option to stop all communication with the click of a button. When the Engineer first shows up they only have basic user permissions; in order to make any changes you have to grant permission for the engineer to gain administrative privileges. Although we are only here to help, all of these safeguards protect both parties. We also have the capability to send files which comes in handy on many occasions and that is upon your approval as well.
